Faith Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), and part of the Western Iowa Synod.

Meet our Vicar
Travis Brincks was raised in Carroll, Iowa. He attended Iowa Central Community College, where he received an Associates of Applied Science in Computer Networking Technologies.
After some time away from the church, Travis was welcomed to St. John Lutheran Church in Carroll, Iowa. While at St. John, he served in many roles including: singer in the worship band, Worship Team Chairperson, technical support, and assisting with weekly worship services.
During his time at St. John, Travis discovered that he had a call to become a Synod Authorized Minister. Travis has served as pulpit supply for St. John in Carroll and Our Saviors in Jefferson before he served at Bethel in Kiron and Faith in Odebolt.
Travis is on his second term for the Western Iowa Synod Council, where he helps with the future vision of the Western Iowa Synod.
Travis is in the Candidacy process to become a rostered minister, through the TEEM program (Theological Education for Emerging Ministries)
He plans to attend Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque.
Travis and his wife, Shayna, are new to the Odebolt community and looking forward to getting to know and being a part of the community.
Travis enjoys playing card and board games, bowling, and watching movies and television shows.
